Daffodils are often confused with the Neolamprologus brichardi as they are extremely simialar. N. brichardi have blue/grey colored fins and black markings on the gill cover that form a t-like shape, while N. pulcher has yellowish fins and the markings on the gill cover form a C-like shape. These are two separate species.
